Mexico's Bicentennial

Houston Texas, they are having and Art exhibition and celebration
 San Francisco, They are having a symphony and a ballet to celebrate
 Philadelphia, The RiverStage will come alive with Mexican inspired entertainment beginning with the “Grito de Independencia” followed by Folkloric Ballet Yaretzi, Battle of Mariachi Flores versus Mariachi Halcones, Fuego Nuevo Aztec Dancing, and live music by Conjunto Atardecer. Other entertainment includes a singing contest, San Mateo Carnavalero’s costumed parade, meet and greet with Philadelphia union players and a live DJ.

Mexico: A monument to commemorate the bicentennial will be constructed in Mexico City along the Paseo de la Reforma, the city's main avenue, beside the Torre Mayor. A contest was held for the design of this monument, and the winner was architect César Pérez Becerril with his design of two 104 meter high columns made of steel and covered in quartz. The Bicentennial Arch will be inaugurated on September 15, 2010. They will also have art, music, fireworks, games and activities, and historic coverings

San Francisco: Celebration will start at 5 – 8:45 pm, September 16, 2010
Philadelphia: Celebration will start at 1 pm – 7 pm
Chicago: Celebration will start at 5:30 pm – 9 pm
Los Angeles: Celebration will start at 6: pm – 10 pm
Heroes are: Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, Jose Maria Morelos, Juan Ruiz de Apodaca, Agustin de Iturbide, Stephen Kearny, Zachary Taylor, Don Guillermo, Vicente Guerrero, Andres Quinata Roo, Guadilupe Victoria.
We are going to watch the parade in mexico, and bring soda and have food and a party.
